CIRCLES OF SEVEN is a formal mentoring program designed to inspire and engage entrepreneurs by pairing with an entrepreneurial mentor. The mentor will offer insight and knowledge acquired from personal experiences. The CIRCLES OF SEVEN mentoring program is more than “how to” sessions, mentors and participants will explore the unlimited opportunity that an entrepreneur mindset can provide.
This year we will offer two different types of groups.
1. Mentoring for Business Growth (the original)
Five-six business owners will meet with a mentor monthly to discuss current issues and discuss various methods of solving the problem. The group sets time and location during the Sept 15 launch. Group topics may include
- Decision Making & Intuitive Thinking Skills
- Leadership & Motivation
- Communication Skills (networking, team building, customer service, marketing)
- Innovative and Creative Thinking Skills
- Coping with stress and uncertainty (achieving work-life balance)
Fee to participate is $75 plus a $25 application fee. To be considered for Mentors for Business Grow- apply by Sept 1.
2. NEW Business Planning Group (new for 2011)
Are you interested in starting a business? Would you like to have a small group of mentors to help you along the path to opening your business doors? This new BPG is designed to encourage business development. The group size is limited to six participants. The group sets the date and time of meetings during the Launch on Sept 15. Issues to be included are:
- Do you have what it takes to be a business owner?
- Surround yourself with winners and develop a powerful network
- Think Big- Start with the end in mind
- Bootstrapping and Lean Start-up Principles
- Writing the business plan
Fee to participate is $75 plus a $25 application fee. T0 be considered for New Business Planning Group- apply by Sept 1.
